I just had a chance to check out Episode 12 on the Kadokawa Youtube channel and it was interesting. I'm really looking forward to the other "Endless Eights" episodes you mention. ^_^

Yes, well.. Haruhi's back and everyone's talking, while all that I can do is rewatch the old episodes I painstakingly downloaded one and a half years back, and read the ep. summaries they keep posting regularly in Wikipedia. Because, (are you surprised, really??) nobody in India bothers to air stuff like this in the channels.. not even Animax. Oh well! Guess I'll be able to watch the second season by the time they manage to come up with a third.. Not to mention my extremely high hopes of there being a follow-up Haruhi-movie with the general dose of Yuki's "Permission?"....

Real Life? Posting twice a week? Heh. Tell me about it. ;) By rights, me working office hours ought to leave evenings and weekends free, and they do, at least in theory. But...

I heard about the Haruhi light novel on Baka Raptor of all places, and I think I'll check it out before continuing with the new TV series run. The in-print format seems to emphasise the things I like about the story more so I'll probably get more enjoyment out of it than I have with the TV show. If I'm lucky it'll allow me to appreciate the TV version better, which would be cool.

I think I get what you're driving at with the fan reaction though. People seem to be a bit snippy and knee-jerk reactionary these days...you can't state any sort of stance without someone jumping down your throat with some wisecrack or simply disagreeing for its own sake. I don't get it either but it's nice to know I'm not the only one.
