It seemed to me like a big "put that in your pipe and smoke it" to the fansubbers and their fancy karaoke effects. Since it was included as a non-credit OP it also means that no true "clean" vesion of the opening has been released so far (one would have to have been provided to Bandai in order to make the english credits so it does exist and will hopefully be included on the R1 DVDs at some point).
